£1 Bargains - June/July

Hiya lovelies

I love the poundworld in the retail park near me it's only small but i have found some brilliant things in there so when we were pulling into the car park the other day I actually jumped out of my seat with excitement (yes sad I know) to find a poundLAND had opened up next door but 1 to poundWORLD.

In my head Im thinking 'is this how sad my life is, this is the happiest I have felt in a couple of weeks and all thanks to a a cheap shop ' and then I snapped out of it because there were lots of lovely bargains to be found.

So these are the bits I picked up are from both shops.

Allura make up sponges
Mark Hill holiday hair dry shampoo
Clearasil Ultra overnight serum
Chit Chat juicy lipstick in Damson
Revlon nail polish in 044 Blue Lagoon and 902 Craving Coral
Revlon nail polish 'matt suede' in 507 Fire Fox
Sinful Colors nail polish in 945 Soul Mate
W7 nail crackle in Sherbet Crackle

I have the Revlon craving coral on my nails today and i love it, it's really vibrant and this is what it looks like after 1 coat

£1 Bargain's

I have been shopping again and found a few £1 bargains which I'm pretty pleased about so here is what i got and a little about each product:

Collection 2000 Naturally Radiant liquid foundation in vanilla

Skin smoothing foundation that hydrates and evens out skin tone for natural radiance. It's a light to medium coverage SPF 15 and oil free.
I found this in the poundland, I love having a rummage through the make-up products there and i was surprised to find that they actually had my shade.

Collection 2000 Lasting Colour Nail Polish in shade 22 'Kiss n Tell'

This came in a packet with the product below its a lovely hot pink and on the bottle it says it has up to 10 days wear and it's high gloss and chip resistant

Collection 2000 Love Your Lips in shade 6 'Adore'

I was quite pleased when i saw this with the nail polish its a natural peachy/pink colour and it was £1 for both products together what a BARGAIN, it says it's a moisturising, non-sticky lipgloss which helps protect and care for lips. Contains anit-oxidants, rose hips & mango extract to soothe and hydrate SPF 20.

Pretty:Perfect Eye Roll On Concealer light tint with citrus

The only reason i got this is because I've been looking at the version from garnier. I don't think it will be as good but for £1 I'm not expecting miracles and i haven't tried the garnier version so i cannot compare them, This is from poundland.

Pink Tease Sparkle Eye Shadow

I love shimmery eye shadows and this one is gold and a darker gold/bronze i have swatched them and they seem quite pigmented for poundland.

Asda Young Skin Eye Make Up Remover

This is from asda and again it was £1 i tried this last night and it really stung my eye's so I'm not impressed with this, it took of my foundation OK but i wont be using it on my eye's again.

They also had some Wet 'n' Wild stuff in but none of the shades were colours i would wear.

Just one last thing i have been using the Ginvera BB Cream and its brilliant so there will be a review on that soooon :)

£1 Bargains

Hi everyone, i have been on a bargain hunt again and got a few things that I'm really pleased with so here goes.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick

I'm so pleased i found in this poundland i had to do a fair bit of rummaging about among the hangers it came packaged in a cellophane bag. This is such a lovely spring/summer shade its in number 022 and its called nostalgia, it's a pink but has a tiny hint of coral.

Now when i got home i looked online for this colour to find the original rrp (i like to see how much i have saved) the only place i found it was on amazon from America so i guess it's a shade they brought out over there or it may have been one of last years UK colours which doesn't bother me as i love the colour i think i have worn it everyday since i bought it :)

MUA Nail Varnish

I got this from superdrug and i chose this colour because it matches the Rimmel lipstick and again its such a summery shade this is shade 4.

MUA nail varnishes are in smaller bottles than many other nail polishes they are 6.2ml but they are the only ones i use up and re-purchase there so easy to apply it needs 2 coats but dried quickly which i love as i tend to get a bit fidgety waiting for my nails to dry and almost ALWAYS smudge them. They have so many shades to choose from and also have a quake (crackle) range out which also features glitter quakes which look lovely too.

Nivea Creme

Again a poundland find it's not much of a 'save' as it's about £1.40 normally but every penny counts nowadays. I use this allover my face after cleansing it is really thick and feels quite oily once applied which i was quite worried about but it hasn't yet broke me out and to be honest the few blemishes i had seem to clear up after the first use so I'm going to keep using it and see if it keeps the blemishes at bay.

That's it for my £1 bargains and i might make this a regular thing :)

Have you found any £1 bargains lately
please comment and let me know about what you've found

MUA lipstick

I'm not usually a lipstick sort of girl i tend to lean more towards glosses but recently i have been using this one i got form MUA in shade 11 and for £1 it's a bargain.

I'm going to start with the packaging its simple which i like and at the bottom there is a clear cap covering a little bit of the product so you can see exactly what colour it is without even opening so when they are being stored makes it easy to select the shade you want.
The colour i chose was shade 11 which is a reddish brown, its a lovely formula easy to apply it just glides on the lips, the finish depends on how you apply if you put on 1 coat it will be a Matt-ish finish but if you apply more coats it will appear slightly glossy and deeper.

I really like this lipstick and I'm going to buy a few more to add to my make up bag
and for £1 you can't really go wrong.
MUA products are available from superdrug here
or from their website here

Have you tried any MUA lipsticks whats your favourite shade
please comment and let me know
thanks
