NOTD 'gold croc'

I was so excited to try out the Barry M croc effects, it took me a couple of attempts to get it right if you apply it too thick it doesn't crack right i ended up using the hairdryer to speed it up.

I love how it looks although i would say it was more of a mosaic effect than a croc one.

Here's what i used
'sorry for the poor quality picture'

Barry M croc effects
Avon Nailware Pro in 'gleaming gold'

I love Avon nail polish its so easy to apply and cheap.
Do you have the croc effects and did you have any problems getting used to applying it.

Mini Boots Haul

Well i have been dying to do a bit of shopping it makes me happy :) and while the 3 for 2 offer is on at boots why not?

So this is what i got

Percy & Reed Hair Totally TLC Hydrating mask
Collection 2000 big fake false lash effect mascara in ultra black
Barry M Crock Effect ( that's 1 ticked off the list )
Collection 2000 Perfect Finish Foundation in vanilla

I wanted to get a new foundation because the 17 miracle matt is quite thick and heavy so i chose collection 2000 perfect finish as it claims to feel weightless on your skin but still give a full coverage which sounds perfect.
I also wanted a new mascara as i have been using maybeline one-by-one for a while now and just fancied a change. As you know the Barry M croc effects is on my April wish list so as it's not April yet i crossed that one off early 'yey me'.
The last thing i got was a Percy & Reed Hair mask which i got free in April's issue of Glamour not bad considering the mask is worth £11 and the mag costs just £2, they also have the shampoo, conditioner and finishing polish in different packs so you choose which product you want and it's 100ml too so it will last a while.

I'm going to use the mask tonight i will let you all know what i think of it

FOTD simple spring look

There is nothing worse than the feeling that your make up is melting of your face with the heat so for the past couple of days i have been make up free, today i decide to apply minimal make up as it's going to be another scorcher so here's what i used.

Face: I used 17 Miracle Matt foundation i applied only a Little bit and used my real techniques stippling brush to blend it in then i used a touch of Soap and Glory's Kick Ass Concealer under my eyes, for my cheeks i used MUA blusher in shade 1 and again i only applied a small amount of this to my cheekbones and then finished off with a light dusting of 17's pressed powder.

Eyes: I used my homemade eye primer then used the naked 2 pallet the colours i applied are bootycall and chopper, on my lashes i used Maybeline one-by-one mascara.

Lips: Rimmel lasting finish in shade 022 nostalgia, i only applied 1 coat then a slick of Soap and Glory's sexy motherpucker lip gloss in shade candy gloss.

In winter i tend to use loads of foundation so I'm going from wearing tones of the stuff to hardly any at all which kinda makes me a little less confident than usual. My aim for this summer is to not really use any foundation at all (EEeeekkkk).

I'm not putting all the links for the places where to buy the products because I'm pretty sure you all know where most if not all of the stuff comes from :)
(if you don't just leave a comment and i will let you know)

NEON Nail's NOTW

With this lovely warm weather i wanted something bright and summery and didn't fancy anything in my polish collection so i went and raided my mum's now some of you will be thinking 'why has your mum got neon polish' well she got it for new years eve 80's party from Primark in a set of 4 for £2 so i borrowed the Orange.

Now as i have never tried Primark polishes before i didn't know of the quality or how intense the colour would be and WOW it's so much brighter than i was expecting it to be, the bottles are only small they are 6ml but at £2 for a set of 4 they well worth it.

Next time i go into Primark i will definitely be checking the other colours out.

What colour have you painted your nails this week?

My Thaught's on Real Techniques Stippling Brush (help wanted)

OK so i have been using this brush over the past 6 days, i was so excited to get it home and try it, i used it with my normal foundation and a few others but every time i do use it i feel its left my face a bit cakey now i don't know weather i just need 'practice' using it to get the technique right or is it  the foundations i have been using I'm stuck.

I'm trying so hard to like this i will still keep using it even though I'm not 100% happy with the finish just so i can say i gave it a chance.

Have you got any tips on using this brush or have you done a youtube video i could watch
