Rimmel Match Perfection Cream-Gel Foundation

I am always on the hunt for a new favourite foundation even if I love the one that I'm using i always want to find something better so as you can imagine I have built up quite a collection of them as its Christmas soon I don't really want to be spending money on more foundations that I'll use a couple of times so I shopped my stash and came across this Rimmel Match Perfection Cream-Gel foundation which if I'm honest I forgot I even had I have the shade 100 ivory

I made a deal with myself to use the foundation for a week and then decide wether I want to carry on using it or re shop my stash

This product claims to adapt to your skin tone and texture, the first thing I noticed about this product was the smell it has a similar fresh scent to Bourjois healthy mix and it applied realy nice and felt realy refreshing on my skin it is a medium coverage and its buildable as It covered all my blemishes super easy, the colour match is pretty good and it does adapt to your skin texture.
The only negative for me is that after a couple of hours it started looking patchy around my cheeks and jaw line also it oxidised on me so the patchiness was darker than my own skin tone and quite orange, I tried it with 3 different primers and without a primer it happened every day so for me this one will be going back into my stash and I'll dig something else out to try

Have you tried this foundation and how did you find it?

  1. I use this but in the bottle/liquid formula also the light porcelain shade and i must admit it is one of my favourite foundations on the highstreet and also the range goes super light which is a win for me! but the shade ivory you have got looks very orange! i can image that does oxygendise alot! x

    1. Oooo they do a lighter shade in the liquid formula I think the one I got is the lightest they go in the gel formula yeah it is pretty orange but once it's applied it matches and then goes darker later on, I think it might the skin adapting thing that actualy works I start with then stops working.
